How to Open Upstox Account
To open a demat and trading account online you will need the following set of documents
- PAN Card
- Aadhaar Card
- Signature (on a blank paper)
- Income proof (if you wish to trade in derivatives)
#1. Sign Up on Upstox Home Page

Click the “Open Demat Account” button to sign up and start the online demat and trading account opening process.
#2. Verify Your Mobile With OTP and Start Application
Fill in your email address and mobile number to generate an OTP. The OTP will be sent to your official mobile number to authenticate the mobile number.
Next, you need to provide the PAN number along with the date of birth, as shown above, to complete the signup page.
#3. Provide Personal Details
Next, you need to provide your personal information like marital status, yearly income and trading experience by clicking on the given options.
