Community means a group of people who share the same ideology and on a similar path in life.
CashOverflow stands for moving slow (like a snail) towards financial goals and expanding your awareness like the spiral (a universal expansion symbol on snail shell).
CashOverflow community stands for handholding each other on their financial freedom journey.
I am connected with 2 types of community members
- Active members who jump into discussions with me on a daily basis
- Passive members who read each of the article & CashOverflow update
I was not interested in creating different channels but I learned from the community that members have different preferences to learn from – Blog, Email, Video, Audio & Discussions.
I suggest you join primarily Telegram & Facebook Private Group
I share every little detail on Telegram for Passive members of CashOverflow. WhatsApp was my first preference but that has a limit of 250 members only.
Telegram is going to be future of staying connected. And you would get daily update messages, article & video links – that would help you get closer to your financial goals.
Facebook Private Group is where you can ask questions if you are an active member of CashOverflow.
Your query would be answered by any community member and you can also jump into the discussions to help others. Tag me whenever required.
Based on your social activity score (higher than 7), you join any 3 channels from the below list because it would be hard for you to stay active on all social media channels.
Meri toh majboori hai har jagah active rehne ki.. par apki choice hai.
Activity Score 7 means where you spend at 70% of your internet time. For example, if you spend 10 hours per week on the internet and spend 7 hours on YouTube+Emails+Instagram then join only those 3 channels of CashOverflow.
I am a camera-shy person and struggled a lot last year when started creating YouTube videos. Now I have more confidence in recording videos. I would be more consistent in creating videos on the topic of investments & passive income ideas.
Expect at least one new video every week on YouTube. Let me know on which topic you want to see the videos.
Use Instagram for daily inspiration and byte size powerful advice on improving personal finance. I will start recording short videos for Instagram in the future. But let’s see how consistent I can stay on updating Instagram account.
Single liner advice and recommendation of useful resources. I share the blog links of people whom I read & follow for financial advice. You would also get the latest news in the financial domain through Twitter. I will also use the hashtag #KanjoosBaniya for sharing tips on money-saving.
#4. Facebook Page
FB killed the organic reach of FB pages still I plan to share the updates via official page of CashOverflow. Short videos work very well on Facebook Pages and that’s what I have in mind to utilize in the future. Expect some funny memes for mocking stupid financial advice.
LinkedIn became the Facebook version of 2015 because I see similar stuff happening on LinkedIn today that I saw on Facebook when I started my blog in May 2015.
In short, LinkedIn has better engagement from the professional network. If you are active on LinkedIn then expect engaging content from CashOverflow.
#6. Email Newsletters
It would take another 2-3 months for me to become active on email newsletters. But if you join today you would get emails related to the stock market investment course. I will send you the weekly summary every Friday so that you can spend your weekend reading some amazing content to improve your financial life.
